Job Description: Web Programmer
Background: Mystery Shoppers Ltd provides a variety of organisations with a service which monitors their customer service. This can be by telephone, fax, email, letter or face-to-face.Increasingly, our work is being carried out via an online system we have designed and developed ourselves, with the aim of offering clients a flexible service which can be tailored to their individual needs.
Mystery shoppers apply online and can find available work through our agent portal. Assessment Reports are completed by our mystery shoppers on our agent portal via questionnaires coded in ASP.net (VB.net) and using an MS SQL database.
Office staff administer the work using our admin portal.
Clients can obtain reports and summary data including tables and charts which are composed on demand via our client portal.
The job: The Web Programmer is part of a small team responsible for all aspects of portal development, questionnaire coding and report creation.
Attributes: Familiarity with and experience of ASP.net (VB.net), MS SQL and Excel. Experience of CSS/HTML would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful applicant needs to be a perfectionist, willing to give attention to detail.
The successful candidate is likely to be recently or newly qualified looking for their first or second job.
The vacancy is in our Holsworthy office so the successful candidate would probably need to live no further from Holsworthy than Plymouth, Exeter, Barnstaple or Bideford to avoid excessive commuting to and from work.
The vacancy is full-time permanent, a 37.5 hour week 9-5 Monday to Friday but flexible in terms of start and finish time.
