1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic, motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills.

The role includes responsibility for growing our client portfolio, dealing with incoming enquiries and proactively identifying new business via a number of channels including networking and cold calling.   The successful candidate will be capable of presenting the company’s services to existing and potential new clients in a self-assured and convincing manner.

Based at our office in Holsworthy, client visits may involve overnight stays in various parts of the UK (3 – 6  nights on average per month) and possible occasional travel outside the UK.   A driving licence is essential.  A company pool car is usually available but it may be necessary on occasion to make use of your own vehicle for business travel (mileage allowance will be payable in such cases). 

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

 Identify potential areas of new business

  • Respond to incoming enquiries
  • Respond to invitations to tender
  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers within client organisations
  • Research and build relationships with new clients and cold call where appropriate
  • Plan approaches and pitches, design proposals that are tailored around the client,   ensuring they meet the client’s needs and objectives
  • Handle client objections by working through differences and clarifying agreements
  • Ensure well informed hand over of new projects to an Account Director upon receipt of confirmation of order

Existing Clients

  • Work with the appropriate Account Director to produce quotes for potential new projects with their existing clients
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet clients’ needs
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs   

Business Development Planning

  • Attend industry functions and conferences and provide feedback to senior management team upon return
  • Present to and consult with the senior management team on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Research the market and our competitors to highlight the company’s USPs

General

  • Ensure all new data is accurately entered and managed within our  Client Management System
  • Track and record all client activity on our Client Management System

Salary : £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience

Hours of work : Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Holiday entitlement : 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

2. CLIENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Would you like to be part of a team helping to deliver our bespoke mystery shopping service to clients (many of whom are household names) from diverse sectors which include finance, insurance, retail, automotive, education, medical, residential care, and travel?

  • Do you have sound IT skills and enjoy adding to your knowledge of on line systems?
  • How is your English grammar?    You will be quality controlling shoppers’ reports and checking for correct spelling and grammar as well as the accuracy of reporting
  • Do you have good communications skills – the role involves contact with shoppers by phone and email and it’s important that you are able to build a good rapport with them
  • We offer regular training and career development for candidates who are looking to progress

Job Overview

The CSA role includes activities such as

  • Posting and allocating assignments on our online system, contacting suitable shoppers and checking they are fully briefed and available where appropriate, approving their pay, expenses and confirming assignment dates
  • Monitoring each assignment to ensure it is carried out in accordance with the brief
  • Quality checking shoppers' reports and ensuring they are approved and signed off before being made available to the Client

 Shopper Support

  • Answer Shopper queries via email/telephone about the projects running in the team
  • Ensure Shoppers are fully briefed before completing their assignments
  • Ensure Shoppers complete their assignments on time and follow up when required

General Attributes

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate high levels of quality control (spelling, grammar etc)
  • Work well under pressure at all times
  • Computer literate
  • Show initiative and always looking for next task, not waiting to be told what to do next
  • Demonstrate good geographical knowledge

Salary : £14,200 - £15,200 per annum dependent upon skills and experience

Hours of work : Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Holiday entitlement : 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
